Saucony Gore-Tex

Saucony with a GORE-TEX membrane. The series consists of the Progrid Omni 9 GTX, a retro sneaker with a membrane for everyday wear, and the Guide TR GTX, the trail version of Saucony's Guide stability shoe.

Both models have a PWRRUN midsole and GORE-TEX, so they keep water out without your feet getting clammy. The Guide TR also has a more aggressive outsole for grip on gravel, dirt and wet rock.

The models

  • Progrid Omni 9 GTX: unisex, sizes 36 to 49, in Fatigue/Silver and Black/Silver
  • Guide TR GTX – men: sizes 40 to 49, in Black/Gunmetal and Fatigue
  • Guide TR GTX – women: sizes 35.5 to 42.5, in Eggplant and Black/Gunmetal

Size

Both models come in standard width and follow the usual Saucony fit. If you're between two sizes, most people go up half a size, as feet swell a little during longer use.

I had ordered running shoes and was looking forward to the delivery. I was contacted by phone and told that the shoes I had ordered were unfortunately sold out, even though the website showed the item as in stock. It took about 1 day after the parcel was sent, then it arrived in a parcel locker.
